🔌 Class 9 Explores the Inside of a USB!

Our curious Class 9 students took a deep dive into the world of USBs – Universal Serial Bus â€“ and uncovered the magic behind one of the most commonly used computer connectors!

We began by learning what a USB really is: a universal way to connect devices like keyboards, mice, printers, and flash drives to computers. Students discovered how USBs carry both power and data, making them essential in our digital lives.

But the real excitement began with a hands-on experiment! Students carefully removed the outer cover of a USB cable to reveal four color-coded wires inside:

  • Red and Black: The power duo – red carries the positive (+) voltage, and black is the ground.

  • Green and White: The data carriers – these wires are responsible for transferring information between devices.

The class was fascinated to see how something so small carries out such big tasks. This activity didn't just teach them about structure; it sparked a whole new appreciation for everyday tech!

Stay tuned for more exciting explorations from our tech-savvy learners!
