Think. Create. Code! – Computer Science Education Week 2025

📢 Get Ready for Computer Science Education Week!
7th – 13th December, 2025

Hello students! 👋
I am Ms. Kritika Lalawat, your Computer Science teacher, and I am super excited to announce that we are celebrating Computer Science Education Week (CSEdWeek) in school from tomorrow onwards! 🎉💻

Throughout the week, we will explore the amazing world of computing through plugged and unplugged activities, creative challenges, and hands-on learning experiences. This is your chance to think like a Computational Thinker — using concepts such as:
✨ Decomposition – breaking a problem into smaller parts
✨ Patterns – identifying similarities and trends
✨ Abstraction – focusing only on important details
✨ Algorithms – designing clear steps to solve problems
✨ Logic – thinking smartly and making decisions
✨ Evaluation – checking and improving solutions

We will also build important approaches like:
🔧 Tinkering
🎨 Creating
🔍 Debugging
🏆 Persevering
🤝 Collaborating

🎯 Unplugged Activity Plan (Class-wise)

Class Activity
3 Algorithmic Recipe Book 🍽️
4 Design Your Own Binary Clock ⏰
5 Pixel Art 🎨
6 Create a Flowchart: My Perfect Day ☀️
7 System Analysis 🔎
8 Logic Gate Craft – Gatekeepers 🚪
9 Design Your Paper App 📱

🎨 What to Bring?

To participate comfortably in all activities, please carry:
📌 A4 size coloured sheets
📌 Crayons / Sketch pens
📌 Fevicol / Glue stick
📌 Safety scissors
📌 Any other craft materials you wish to use

To make our CSedWeek even more fun and skill-building, we have exciting coding practice lined up!

🌟 For Classes 5, 6 & 7
Students can explore and practice their coding skills using Minecraft-themed coding puzzles at the link below:
(Choose any of the activities: Voyage Aquatic, Hero’s Journey or Minecraft Adventurer 🧱✨)

Keep practicing at home too — the more you code, the better you get! 💪

🐍 Python Hackathon for Classes 8 & 9

Our young Pythonists have already learned:
✔ Input & Output
✔ Variables & Data Types
✔ Conditional Statements
✔ Loops
✔ Functions
✔ Random, MOD, DIV
✔ Basic Debugging

Now it’s time to put these skills into action in our Python Hackathon Challenge this week!
Innovative ideas + smart coding = 🚀

This week will be full of learning, creativity, teamwork and appreciation! 🎊
Let’s code, create and celebrate the power of computing together!
Stay curious, stay inspired — and be ready to show your computational brilliance! 🚀

See you tomorrow for an exciting start to CSEdWeek!💡🖥️
